Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Your Own Agent Hub ("we", "us", "the platform") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our website and any AI agent hosted on it (Study Mentor, Resume Builder, Project Studio, Reel Generator, PDF Reader, Mobile Health Checker, Spoken English, and every other agent in our catalog). It applies whether you are a signed-in account holder or an anonymous visitor using our public Help Center or concierge chat. It does not cover third-party websites you may reach through links on our platform.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you choose Google sign-in, the basic profile details Google shares with us (name, email, profile photo). We never see or store your Google or email password.

Content you provide. Prompts, documents, images, and other inputs you give an agent, plus the outputs that agent generates for you — for example, a resume draft, a project notebook page, a quiz answer, or a generated reel.

Usage & conversation data. Chat history with an agent, quiz/study progress, and similar in-product activity — kept only if you have "Save conversation history" enabled in Settings → Privacy, and cleared automatically once it passes your chosen retention period if "Auto-delete conversations" is on.

Payment information. When you buy credits or a subscription, our payment partner Razorpay processes your card/UPI/wallet details directly — we receive only the payment status and a reference ID, never your full card or bank account number.

Technical information. IP address, browser/device type, and basic diagnostic logs, collected automatically to keep the platform secure and working correctly, and — only if you have "Anonymous usage analytics" enabled — aggregated, non-identifying product-usage metrics that help us improve the platform.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

  • Operate each AI agent — sending your prompts/content to an AI provider and returning its response;
  • Maintain your account, wallet balance, and subscription status;
  • Process payments and prevent fraud or abuse of free credits and usage limits;
  • Provide customer support and respond to Help Center tickets;
  • Personalize recommendations and remember helpful context — only while "Personalized recommendations" is enabled in Settings → Privacy;
  • Understand aggregate product usage to fix bugs and improve agents — only from anonymous analytics you have opted into;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.

We do not use your content to sell you third-party advertising, and we do not run ad-tracking scripts on the platform.

4. AI processing & sub-processors

To generate a response, an agent sends the relevant part of your prompt/content to one of our AI infrastructure providers — currently OpenAI, Anthropic, and/or Google — depending on which model best suits that agent. Speech-to-text (used by Spoken English) and AI image generation (used by Project Studio, Reel Generator, and the Project Gallery) are also processed through OpenAI's API.

These providers process your content solely to return a result to you and are bound by their own enterprise data-handling terms, which by default do not use API-submitted content to train their general foundation models. We do not separately train our own AI models on your personal content.

Besides these AI providers, our other sub-processors are Supabase (authentication and database hosting) and Razorpay (payment processing) — each engaged only to the extent needed to run the corresponding part of the service.

5. Data storage & retention

Your account data and content are stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure with encryption in transit. Conversation history, generated documents, and uploaded files are retained for as long as your account stays active, subject to the document-retention window you choose in Settings → Privacy (30 days up to forever) and whether auto-delete is switched on.

You can review your current storage usage and request an export of your data at any time from Settings → Data. Deleting a conversation, document, or generated item removes it from active storage; residual copies in backups are purged on our normal backup-rotation schedule.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

We use only essential cookies/local storage — primarily Supabase's authentication session tokens (prefixed sb-) that keep you signed in, plus your saved language and interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear locally cached preferences at any time from Settings → Data.

7. When we share information

We never sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With the sub-processors described in Section 4, strictly to provide the service;
  • If you choose to publish something yourself — for example, publishing a Project Studio project to the shared library makes that project's topic and settings visible to other students;
  • To comply with a legal obligation, court order, or valid government request;
  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the platform, e.g. investigating fraud or abuse.

8. Your choices & rights

From Settings, you can at any time:

  • Turn conversation history, personalization, and anonymous analytics on or off (Settings → Privacy);
  • Choose how long your documents/conversations are kept, or enable auto-delete (Settings → Privacy);
  • Request an export of your stored data, or clear locally cached data (Settings → Data);
  • Update your profile details or notification preferences (Settings → Workspace/Notifications).

To close your account and request deletion of your personal data, contact us through the Help Center — we will action the request once we have verified it is coming from the account holder, subject to any records we are legally required to retain (for example, payment records for tax purposes).

9. Students & children's privacy

Several of our agents (Study Mentor, Project Studio) are built for school students, but the platform itself is intended to be used by, or under the guidance of, a parent, guardian, or school for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without the consent required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can remove it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access-controlled infrastructure, and scoped API credentials — to protect your information. No system is completely immune to risk, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable any available account-security options.

11. International data transfers

Some of our sub-processors (including our AI infrastructure providers) operate servers outside India. Where your information is transferred internationally, we rely on those providers' own contractual and security safeguards to protect it consistently with this policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our platform or legal obligations evolve. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be highlighted on the platform. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

13. Contact us
